MS Dhoni Wanted to Earn Rs 30 Lakhs and Spend Rest of His Life Peacefully in Ranchi : Wasim Jaffer

New Delhi : Indian team opener Wasim Jaffer recently announced his retirement. Meanwhile Jaffer has made a big disclosure about World Cup winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
According to Jaffer, Dhoni wanted to live peacefully in his hometown Ranchi, earning just Rs 30 lakh in the early days of international cricket. “In his 1st or 2nd year in Indian team, I remember he said, he wants to make 30lakhs from playing cricket so he can live peacefully rest of his life in Ranchi,” Jaffer wrote on his twitter handle to a query from a fan on Saturday.





Under the leadership of Dhoni, India won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ODI World Cup in 2011.  He is considered to be India’s most successful captain and one of the best wicketkeepers in the world. Remember that Dhoni was going to make a comeback from the IPL, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament is unlikely to be held this year.
