You will get the same taste in making it at home that you get in any restaurant. The special thing is that you can eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner at any time. Learn the easy way to make uttapam.
Things required to make uttapam –
Finely chopped green chillies
Finely chopped coriander leaves
To make it, first of all take semolina according to how many uttapams you want to make. Keep in mind that semolina puff-ups. Here we have taken two cups of semolina and one cup of curd in it. Now add some water and beat it. After beating, keep it for about 10 minutes. After ten minutes, add finely chopped green chilies, finely chopped coriander leaves, tomatoes, capsicum and salt as per taste.
Mix all these things well. Now put the tawa on low flame. If there is a non-stick tawa, take it and if you don’t have non-stick tawa, you can make it even on an ordinary pan. Put a little refined oil on the bottom. As soon as the oil is hot, now take this mixture, pour it on tawa and spread it. Bake it from both sides. After a while you will see that it will become slightly golden. Now turn off the gas and remove it from tawa. Now serve it on a plate. Your uttapam is ready to eat. You can eat it with tomato sauce, sambhar or coconut chutney.
