Devendra Fadnavis | We will harp on OBC quota issue despite MLAs suspension

Policenama online :  Twelve MLAs of the BJP were suspended for manhandling the presiding officer on the first day of the Monsoon session of the state assembly. Opposition Leader Devendra Fadnavis criticized the government for the action. “We exposed the government on the OBC quota issue. Hence, they suspended the MLAs on baseless allegations. We will continue to speak on the issue, even if all 106 MLAs are suspended,” he said.

“I will not reveal what Bhaskar Jadhav (the presiding officer) said. This is a ‘manufactured’ action when the issue was settled,” said Fadnavis.

He said exchanging words in the Speaker’s chamber is common. However, suspension never happens. Nobody abused. All know who was using bad words.
Action was taken even after Ashish Shelar apologized.
n excuse was found to suspend them.

Justic Bhosale, Khambata told the state government that a Backward Class Commission will have to be set up for the Maratha quota.
Therefore, there is no use passing such proposals. The government is buying time. Both the proposals are misleading the communities, he said.
