PSI walks into ACB net while accepting Rs 12,000 bribe for not acting against private vehicles

Solapur : Policenama online ACB Trap On PSI Prashant Kshirsagar | The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Solapur caught red-handed a police sub-inspector by setting a trap while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 for not acting against private vehicles parked in the railway station area.

 

PSI Prashant Suryakant Kshirsagar (34), attached to the Sadar Bazar police station, under the railway station police chowki, has been arrested.

 

The complainant and some of his acquaintances park their private vehicles in the railway station area for ferrying passengers. PSI Kshirsagar demanded a monthly bribe of Rs 13,000 to not against them. The complainant approached the ACB. The complaint was cross-checked that PSI Kshirsagar reached a compromise with the complainant to accept Rs 12,000.

 

A trap was laid under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Rajesh Bansode, Additional Superintendent Suraj Gurav and Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Patil. Police Inspector Chandrakant Koli, police personnel Shirishkumar Sonawane, Atul Ghadge, Shriram Ghuge, Pramod Pakale, Umesh Pawar and Shyam Surawse took part in the action. PSI Kshirsagar was nabbed while accepting Rs 12,000 from the complainant.
