Policenama online – Akola : A car and a truck collided head-on in Akola, Maharashtra. In this horrific accident, three people died on the spot. The accident happened on National Highway No. 6 in Akola. One person in the car was seriously injured.
According to the information, the accident happened near Reliance Petrol Pump located at Ridhora at around 1 pm. Rescue work was delayed as the accident occurred at midnight. Police have registered a case against the accused truck driver in this regard. The matter is being further investigated by the police.
Four people in the car were going from Shegaon to Washim. At around one o’clock in the night, a speeding truck hit the car. Three people in the car died on the spot, while one was seriously injured. The car was badly crushed in the accident. The injured have been admitted to Akola Hospital for treatment. The deceased have been identified as a resident of Pangrikute in Malegaon taluka of Washim district.
