Mumbai : A second summons has been issued to Sachin Waze, an officer from the Mumbai police force, in connection with the Antilia bomb scare and Mansukh Hiren death case. The commission has issued summons to former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh to probe allegations of corruption worth Rs 100 crore against former state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. The matter is currently under investigation under the chairmanship of retired Justice Chandiwal. The summons was issued in the name of Waze to file his affidavit in this regard.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has written a letter accusing former state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of making serious allegations. As soon as this letter was released, the political atmosphere in the state was stirred. Anil Deshmukh has made a serious allegation that Sachin Waze was given a target of Rs 100 crore per month. Anil Deshmukh had to resign after this incident. Taking note of the petition filed in the High Court in this regard, the court has ordered a CBI inquiry. A parallel judicial inquiry is also being conducted into the allegations.

Retired Mumbai High Court Justice Chandiwal is probing the case. Chandiwal had on May 30 summoned five persons and directed them to file affidavits by June 11 in connection with the allegations. According to the order, Sachin Waze was also required to file an affidavit. However, the affidavit has not been filed as Waze is currently in judicial custody. Therefore, the commission has issued another summons in the name of Waze. The main accusation in the case is made on the former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who has already filed a petition seeking time to file an affidavit before the commission.

The NIA has arrested suspended police officer Sachin Waze in connection with an explosive laden car found outside Mukesh Ambani’s house in Mumbai. The NIA is investigating Sachin Waze in this case. The NIA is also investigating the Mansukh Hiren death case.
