At least 12 killed, 13 injured in accident at coal mine in China
Beijing, Dec 21 (UNI)- At least 12 people were killed and 13 others were injured as a result of an accident at a coal mine in China’s northeastern province of Heilongjiang, the CCTV broadcaster reported on Thursday, citing local authorities.
The incident took place at 3:50 p.m. local time (07:50 GMT) on Wednesday in the city of Jixi.
Measures are currently being taken at the site to eliminate the consequences of the accident, and its cause is being clarified.
