Construction worker dies after falling from 14th floor in Baner; 4 contractors booked

Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | A construction worker died after falling from the 14th floor of a building under construction. A case has been registered against four contractors in this matter. The incident took place on November 30 in Pancard Club Road area of Baner. (Pune Crime)
The deceased construction laborer has been identified as Sham Neva Ravidas (22) from Narhe. A case has been registered at the Chatuhshrungi police station against the contractors Lajjaram Gujar, Ramkesh Gujar, Ravi Gawande, Ajinkya, who have been held responsible for the accident. Devendra Kumar (28) has filed a complaint in this regard. (Pune Crime)
According to the police, work of a planned housing project is underway at Pancard Club Road in Baner area. Deceased Ravidas was working to install flooring on the balcony of the 14th floor of the building. He lost his balance and fell down from the floor. He was seriously injured and died.
The accident occurred due to a lack of safety measures at the construction site.
