Deccan Express, Deccan Queen trains will not run on January 2 due to a mega block
Pune : Policenama online Central Railway will operate a special 24-hour block on Up and Down 5th and 6th slow lines between Kalva and Diva on January 2 and 3. The block will be operated between 2 am on Sunday to 2 am on Monday.
This will affect local and other mail express trains on January 2 (Sunday), including the Deccan Express and Deccan Queen running between Pune and Mumbai.
The trains which have been cancelled on January 1 are as under:
- Amravati-Mumbai Express
- Nagpur-Mumbai Sewagram Express
- Nanded–Mumbai Rajyarani Express
The trains which have been cancelled on January 2 are as under:
- Mumbai-Jalna-Mumbai Janshatabdi Express
- Mumbai-Manmad-Mumbai Panchvati Express
- Mumbai-Adilabad Nandigram Express
- Mumbai-Amravati Express
- Mumbai-Nagpur Sewagram Express
- Mumbai-Gadag Express
- Nanded–Mumbai Rajyarani Express
The trains which have been cancelled on January 2 are as under:
- Adilabad-Mumbai Nandigram Express
- Gadag-Mumbai Express
The short terminated/originated trains are as under:
- Hubballi-Dadar Express will be short terminated at Pune railway station on January 1.
- Dadar-Hubballi Express will short originate from Pune railway station on January 2.
- Kolhapur–Mumbai Koyna Exp will be short terminated at Pune railway station on January 1
- Mumbai–Kolhapur Koyna Exp will short originate from Pune on January 2
