Pune: DRDO Scientist Kurulkar | On Friday, the government submitted a written argument in the court to seek permission for the psychological analysis and voice analysis test of Pradeep Kurulkar, director of DRDO, senior scientist, who is under arrest on charges of providing confidential information to Pakistani intelligence agencies.

Additional Public Prosecutor Advocate Vijay Fargade submitted a written argument in the court. Kurulkar’s consent is not required for the vice-layer psychological analysis test. This test will be conducted to give direction to the investigation. So this test should be allowed, said Fargade in the written arguments filed in the court

A charge sheet has been filed against Kurulkar. The documents mentioned in the charge sheet have not yet been received. Many of the answers are sealed. Therefore, it will be easier to argue if we get the information about what exactly is in the answer, the defense lawyer Adv.Rishikesh Ganu said in his application to the court. Kurulkar’s vice-layer psychological test will be heard on August 2.

Non-cooperation from Kurulkars

Meanwhile, the court had asked the officers of the State Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) about the vice-layer psychological test. Has this test been done before? The court had asked the ATS officials. However, the ATS officials could not be given satisfactory information. Therefore Additional Sessions Judge S. B. Kachre had asked for answers to the questions raised before hearing the trial. According to the public prosecutor Adv. Fargade has submitted a written argument to the court as to why it is necessary to conduct a voice layer analysis and psychological test. The lawyers of the government party had said that this test was necessary as Kurulkar was not cooperating with the investigating authorities.
