Dumper crushes mother-daughter duo in Bibvewadi, driver arrested

The deceased mother-daughter have been identified as Rupali Kalpesh Bora (38) and Garima Kalpesh Bora (8) from Bibvewadi. Truck driver Rahul Kundlik Jadhav (32) from Ambegaon Pathar has been arrested in this case.

According to the police, Rupali and her daughter Garima were going home on a two-wheeler around 6:15 on Wednesday evening. The dumper driver carrying gravel suddenly took a turn near Bibvewadi Junction signal.

As a result, both mother-daughter were crushed and seriously injured as they were caught under the rear wheel of the dumper. They were immediately admitted to the hospital. However, they died during treatment. According to relatives, Rupali had gone to take shoes for daughter’s social gathering. The accident happened while returning home.

PSI Shirsat is conducting a thorough investigation in this matter.
