Earthquake of 4.4 stuck Assam

Guwahati, May 29 (UNI) An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 struck Assam’s Dhekiajuli on Monday morning.
The tremors were felt across the neighbouring countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan and China.
It needs mention here, a mild earthquake measuring 4.5 on Richter scale struck Meghalaya on May 28. No reports of any damages or casualties were reported.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 29-05-2023, 08:03:35 IST, Lat: 26.68 & Long: 92.35, Depth: 15 Km, Region: Sonitpur, Assam,” tweeted the National Center for Seismology. No damage has been reported so far.
