Farmers’ tractor rally : Entry on Red Fort metro closed after violence

New Delhi : In order to control the situation after the farmers’ tractor march on Tuesday morning, the exercise of security agencies continued till late night. The debris that was broken by the farmers was then removed. The Red Fort was completely evacuated late at night. A large number of security personnel are deployed. Most of the protesters have been shifted out of Delhi.

The roads which were closed due to the nuisance were reopened late at night. Traffic is normal on these routes on Wednesday morning as well. However, the police have closed the ITO to Din Dayal Upadhyay Marg, which leads to Connaught Place. At the same time, the path from ITO intersection to India Gate has also been closed. The road from Minto Road to Connaught Place is also closed.

At the same time, if you want to go from Delhi to Ghaziabad or Ghaziabad to Delhi, check the route first. NH-9 and NH-24 have been closed for safety. People using this highway today may have to face a lot of trouble. To go from Ghaziabad to Delhi one can take the route of Anand Vihar.

Apart from this, Delhi Metro has opened all the metro stations except Red Fort. The Red Fort metro station is closed, while the entry gate of Jama Masjid metro station is closed, but one can exit. Apart from this, the situation is normal at all metro stations.
