Balan Cup T20 League | In the fourth S Balan T20 League inter club cricket 2023 competition organised by Punit Balan Group, the Pune Police team recorded its second consecutive victory. The Evano Eleven team recorded its first victory and earned first points. (S. Balan Cup T20 League)

 

In the competition being held at Shinde High School ground at Sahakar Nagar, Evano Eleven team defeated Ashtapailu Sports Foundation by 15 runs on the basis of Shubham Harkal’s 61 runs. Batting first, Evano Eleven put up a score of 172 runs. Shubham Harkal scored 61 runs and Nikhil Joshi scored 50 runs to shape the innings. Ashtapailu Sports Foundation could score 157 runs in comparison. Prafful Mankar scored 65 not out but could save the team from defeat.

 

The Pune Police team defeated Aeon Warriors team by four wickets and recorded their second successive win on the strength of excellent bowling by Prithviraj Gaikwad. Batting first, Aeon Warriors team scored 166 runs due to good batting by Akshay Pancharia (70), Kashyap Bakle (45) and Ambhimanyu Chouhan (42). Prithviraj Gaikwad took three wickets by giving 32 runs. The Pune Police overhauled the target in 18.3 overs by losing six wickets. Rahul Desai scored 56 runs. Awdhoot Dandekar (38) and Parikshit (33) also chipped in to take the team to victory.
