Gang goes on rampage in Wanawadi Gaon, vandalises vehicles in area

After the recent incident in which a gang vandalised vehicles in Kondhwa, a similar incident has taken place in Wanawadi Gaon on Sunday morning. The incident took place in a lane in the gaothan at 2.30 am. (Pune Crime News)
According to the Wanawadi police, the citizens had parked their vehicles in small lanes. At 2.30 am, a gang of four to five youths carrying sickles and sticks arrived in the area. They started vandalising vehicles parked on the road.
The windshields of cars and autos were destroyed by using sickles. The two-wheelers were pushed aside. Two cars, two rickshaws and many two-wheelers suffered extensive damage. The citizens came out after hearing the noise. However, the gang members had disappeared. Information about how the gang members entered the area and for what reason and why they vandalised the vehicles is not known. The Wanawadi police rushed to the spot after they were informed and are investigating the incident.
Two days ago, a gang had severed Ladappa’s hand from the wrist after attacking him with sickles. Later, his friends vandalised vehicles in Kondhwa and 14 vehicles had been damaged. Now, a similar incident has taken place in Wanawadi Gaon.
