Girish Bapat addressed office-bearers and workers of the BJP. He reached the polling booth to exercise his right. Kasba election has become prestigious for both the BJP and the Congress.

Girish Bapat, while speaking at the workers meeting, said, “I am not active in elections for the first time since 1968. Our party fought many elections, won many times and lost many times. But the party remained organised. This election is not tough, we will win it by a good margin of votes. Workers should do good work, the worker is the soul of the party. I feel blessed to serve that soul for many years. Our candidate is going to win for sure. Hemant Rasane has done good work. We need to reach citizens.” Girish Bapat had expressed the confidence that he would come back after recovery and offer sweets after Rasane’s victory.
