New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI)- Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A) bloc-led parliamentarians on Thursday held a protest march from Parliament House to Vijay Chowk on the issue of suspension of MPs in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

They alleged that the BJP-led Central government do not want the Parliament to run.

Taking a dig at the Centre, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the government doesn’t want the Parliament to run. “In the Democracy, it is our right to speak. We are the representatives of People and our job is to raise their questions in the house which we were doing,” said Kharge.

On the suspension of MPs, he said, “We wanted to discuss the issue of Parliament security breach incident in the House.”

Talking to the media during the protest march, Kharge slammed the Prime Minister and Home Minister for not making any statement in the Parliament on the security breach incident. “PM Modi did not turn up in the Parliament to make any statement on the security breach issue, but addressing the incident outside the parliament,” the Congress President alleged.

Announcing the next step of INDIA alliance, he said the opposition bloc will hold nationwide protests on December 22 against suspension of MPs in the both Houses of Parliament.
