Pune: The 20th Annual Conference of the Academy of Discrete Mathematics and Applications (ADMA), ICDM 2024, will take place from June 7-10, 2024, at the Department of Mathematics, Savitribai Phule Pune University. This prestigious event is jointly organized by the Department of Mathematics, Savitribai Phule Pune University, and COEP Technological University, Pune.

The conference will be inaugurated on June 7, 2024, at 9:30 am by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prof. Suresh Gosavi, ADMA President Prof. Ambat Vijayakumar, renowned mathematician and former director of Harishchandra Research Institute Prof. Ravi Kulkarni, Head of the Department of Mathematics Prof. Vinayak Joshi, Prof. Yashwant Borse from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Prof. Charusheela Deshpande from COEP Technological University.

The chief guest for the event will be Prof. Ram Murty from Queen’s University, Canada. A distinguished mathematician and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Prof. Murty is a recipient of the Coxeter-James Prize, the Jeffrey-Williams Prize, and the 2024 CRM-Fields-PIMS prize.

The four-day conference will feature talks by numerous distinguished mathematicians. Keynote speakers include:

Prof. Friedrich Wehrung from the University of Caen Normandy, France, known for settling Dilworth’s conjecture in Lattice Theory.

Prof. Mathias Schacht from the University of Hamburg, awarded the Richard Rado Prize and the George Pólya Prize for his research on hypergraph regularity.

Prof. G. Y. Katona from Budapest University, recognized for his contributions to discrete mathematics.

Prof. Sandra Kingan from the City University of New York, USA, who serves as a North American ambassador to the International Mathematical Union’s Committee for Women.

Prominent Indian speakers include:

Prof. Apoorva Khare from IISc Bangalore, recipient of the Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Prize.

Prof. Shekhar Mande, Former Director General CSIR and Distinguished Professor at Bioinformatics Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Prof. Amitava Bhattacharya from TIFR, Mumbai.

Prof. Shariefuddin Pirzada from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar.

Prof. Soumen Maity from IISER, Pune.

Prof. Ganesh Kadu from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

The conference will feature nearly 100 lectures, including 5 Plenary Talks, 6 Endowment Lectures, 8 Invited Lectures, and numerous research paper presentations, making it a significant event in the field of discrete mathematics.
