Kondhwa police arrest accused in four hours in attempt to murder case

The arrested accused has been identified as Pavan Ravindra Rathod (26), a resident of Kondhwa. On Monday at 10 pm, Rohit Ashok Khandale (24), a resident of Kondhwa Budruk, was drinking alcohol with his friend Vaibhav Salve. At that time, Mangesh Mane, Sagar Jadhav, Pavan Rathod, Suraj Patil and Abhijit alias Jabya Suresh Dudhnikar came there to consume alcohol. Due to a dispute over drinking liquor, the accused assaulted the complainant with a sharp weapon and seriously injured him. Senior police officials visited the spot. An FIR of attempt to murder has been registered at the Kondhwa police station.
The Kondhwa police were tracing the accused and they got information about accused Pavan Rathod. He was arrested within four hours. Sr PI Santosh Sonwane, PI Sanjay Mogle guided API Anil Survase, police constable Amol Hirve, Mahesh Waghmare, policemen Ganesh Chinchkar, Vikas Margale and Rahul Thorat in arresting the accused. The Kondhwa police are searching for other accused.
