List of candidates for Kasba and Chinchwad by-elections ready, soon to be announced from Delhi – Chandrakant Patil
Pune : Policenama online – Chandrakant Patil | The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the dates for upcoming Kasba and Chinchwad Assembly bye-elections. However, BJP candidates have not been announced yet. When Pune Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil was asked about this, he replied, the list of candidates for the Kasba and Chinchwad bypolls has been prepared. It will be sent to the Central Committee on Friday. The Central Committee will meet on January 31 or February 1 and the list will be considered. The names of the candidates will then be announced from Delhi on January 31 or February 1.
People like me should take a lesson from Fadnavis
Devendra Fadnavis has accused the then Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey of filing an FIR and ordering to arrest me during the Maha Vikas Aghadi rule. Commenting on this, Patil said Fadnavis has earned credibility in the state at a young age. He speaks with proof on any subject and never requires to retract a statement. “People like me should learn from him. I say something innocently and apologise with a big heart. So I don’t give you any chance to protest. Whatever Fadnavis said should be believed,” he said.
