Pune : Policenama online – Maharashtra IPS Promotion Transfer Postponed | Transfer and promotion orders of senior officers of the Maharashtra police were issued on Wednesday (April 20) night. However, barely 12 hours after the orders were issued, the transfer and promotion orders of five officers were stayed till further orders.
Five officers from Mumbai and Thane of the rank of SP and DCP had been promoted as Addl CPs. The Home Department had issued the orders. However, not even 12 hours had passed after the order was issued, the order was stayed.

Sanjay B Jadhav : (SP, Highway Safety Squad, Pune) to Addl CP, Administration, Thane City
Punjabrao Ugale : (SP, ACB Thane) to Addl CP, Local Arms, Brihanmumbai
Dattatraya Shinde : (SP, Palghar) to Addl CP, Security, Brihanmumbai
