Public holiday declared in State on Monday to mourn Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar’s death
Pune : Policenama online – Maharashtra Public Holiday | The state government has declared a public holiday on Monday (February 7) to mourn the death of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar.
A notification issued, in this regard, stated: “Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar passed away today, on February 6, 2022. This has caused a big loss to the field of music and art. The state government declares a public holiday on Monday, February 7 to pay homage to the great singer.”
Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar died on Sunday morning. She breathed her last at 93. She was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital on January 9 due to Covid-19.
