Maharashtra Rain Update: Heavy rains expected in Konkan for next 3-4 days

Mumbai : Monsoon (Maharashtra Rain) has arrived in Maharashtra and now heavy rains have started in the Konkan and Mumbai suburbs since this morning. According to the meteorological department, torrential rains are expected in Kokan, Mumbai, Thane, Central Maharashtra and Vidarbha for the next three to four days. This requires the citizens of the state to be more careful for the next three-four days. The administration is also appealing to the citizens not to leave their homes unless they need to.

In Ratnagiri, Guhagar district in Konkan, heavy rains lashed the area last night. Chiplun, Mandangad, Dapoli, Sangameshwar and Rajapur have also been lashed by heavy rains. Heavy rains have also started in Roha, Kolad, Pali and Sudhagad. It has been raining continuously for the last two days in Ratnagiri. However, the intensity of rain has increased since last night. Therefore, an orange alert has been issued to Ratnagiri in the district.

Mumbai has received heavy rains since last night. Meanwhile, heavy rains lashed Mumbai this morning. As a result, the Sion, Hindmata Chowk area of Mumbai was flooded and citizens are facing major difficulties.
