IMD forecasts rain for three days in state
Pune : Policenama online – Maharashtra Rains | The intensity of the heat is increasing day by day in Maharashtra. The residents have to suffer inconvenience because of the heat. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain for the state. There is cloudy weather in Mumbai, Thane and suburban areas. The IMD has said that rainfall is likely in the next two-three days.
The IMD has issued a cyclone alert in the Bay of Bengal. A low pressure area has been created and its effect will be felt in Maharashtra and the southern states. Hence, rainfall has been predicted. Cloudy weather is seen in some parts of the state. Light rainfall has been forecast in south mid Maharashtra on Tuesday and in south Konkan and south central Maharashtra on March 23 to 25.
Meanwhile, the earthen pots being made in Palandur village of Bhandara district are being sent to other districts. The heat is severe in Marathwada and Vidarbha and hence, there is an increasing demand for earthen pots. On one hand there is intense heat and on the other hand, there is cloudy weather. The IMD has said that this can lead to rise in ailments and has asked citizens to take care of their health.
