Pune : Policenama online Maharashtra Rains | The minimum temperature has dropped in many cities in the state but the IMD has made a forecast that there is a possibility of rainfall in some areas. On December 28, districts like Aurangabad, Jalna, Jalgaon, Gondia, Wardha, Bhandara, Nagpur, Amravati and Akola are likely to experience rainfall along with lightning. (Maharashtra Rains |)

On December 27, there is a possibility of scattered rainfall in Vidarbha, said an IMD forecast.

The temperature has dropped in many cities in the state.

The minimum temperature on December 24 in some cities is as follows:

Nanded: 13.8, Jalna: 13.3, Solapur: 13, Parbhani: 13.5, Colaba: 20, Santacruz: 18.4, Pune: 12.4, Kolhapur: 16.6, Ratnagiri: 17.1, Malegaon: 13.2, Thane: 20.2, Nashik: 12, Baramati: 13.3, Matheran: 16.6 and Sangli: 15.2

According to the IMD, due to snowfall in north India, the temperature in Leh and Ladakh is below zero. Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab and Odisha are experiencing a cold wave.

However, according to an IMD forecast, residents of Delhi can get some respite from the cold weather. IMD had said that there will be no cold wave in most of the country till January 5, 2022 but has issued a forecast today that some states may experience a cold wave.

In another forecast, it has said that there is a possibility of light rainfall in some parts of Bihar from December 27 to 30.
