Mahesh Tapase | Satyapal’s statement about Pulwama attack grievous, PM should clarify: Tapase

Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) NCP state chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Saturday said statement regarding Pulwama attack made by former J&K Governor Satyapal Malik alleging lapses by Home Ministry and the PM telling him to be quiet is very serious and he demanded that PM Modi should clarify about the same.

Tapase in his statement stated that the government owes an explanation to the country and to the families of those forty soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack.

“Statement made by a former Governor assumes significance and people have a right to know what exactly happened” said Tapase.

In an interview to a media outlet, the former Governor Satyapal Malik made startling revelations regarding lapses by Home Ministry. He also said that despite highlighting corruption issues, Modi government chose to look the other way.

Tapase further said that PM Modi not making it in the list of top 100 most influential leaders does not come as a surprise to him as his Government has “failed to satisfy the aspirations of the citizens during the past nine years”.

The Modi magic is wearing off due to price rise, unemployment and rise of castiesm thereby disrupting the social fabric of India, added Tapase.
