Policenama online – Laxminarayan Mishra has been appointed as CMD for Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd ( PMPML )
After the expiry of the term of the previous incumbent Rajendra Jagtap, Kunal Khemnar, Additional Municipal Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) recently had taken additional charge of the PMPML CMD
Mishra is presently a Ratnagiri collector. With today’s administrative reshuffle he will soon take charge of the PMPML.
The state government has transferred seven IAS officials.
- VB Patil – Secretary, Food, Civil Supply and consumer protection in Mantralay is transferred to Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division
- Vijay Waghmare – Additional Director MSRDC, Mumbai transferred as Secretary, Food, Civil Supply and consumer protection in Mantralay
- Viamal R will take over as Collector Nagpur
- Laxminarayan Mishra – transferred from Ratnagiri Collector to PMPML as CMD
- Dr. Rajendra Bharud – Nandurbar Collector will take charge of Commissioner, Tribal Research and Training Institute
- Jalaj Sharma – Additional Municipal Commissioner, Nagpur will take charge as Collector Dhule
- Manisha Khatri – Additional Commissioner Tribal Development will take charge as Collector Nandurbar

Traffic diversion in Koregoan Park and Kalyaninagar area to facilitate Metro Work
The Pune traffic police have diverted vehicular movement in places in Koregoan Park and Kalyaninagar on an experimental basis to facilitate the ongoing Metro station work. The change will be implemented from Saturday.
Rahul Shrirame, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) has issued notification regarding traffic diversion in Koregoan Park and Kalyaninagar. He informed that vehicular traffic movement from Koregaon Park to Bishop School would remain closed at NM Chavan Chowk. While traffic movement from Bishop School to Koregaon park would remain closed at Gold Adlab Chowk.
The statement said vehicles plying from Bishop school- Kalyaninagar to Koregaon Park can take a right turn and can take lane 7 of Kalyaninagar to reach their respective destination.
