Man suffers bone fracture as bus driver applies urgent brakes at speed breaker, driver booked
Pune : Policenama online – A 56-year-old man suffered pelvis bone fracture as the driver of a private bus he was travelling in applied urgent brakes at a speed breaker on Pune-Satara Road. The driver was booked in this regard.
The victim, Krishna Hanmantrao Babaladi (56), a resident of Pimpri, had lodged a complaint with the Sahakarnagar police station. The police booked the driver. The incident took place at around 6 am on December 21 on Satara Road in front of Rao Nursing Home.
According to the police, private buses are allowed to carry passengers as MSRTC employees are on a strike. The complainant was travelling by a private bus. The driver was driving the bus recklessly. He failed to notice the speed breaker in advance on Satara Road. As the driver applied urgent brakes, the complainant lost balance and fell and broke his waist-bone due to the shock caused by the bump. He lodged a complaint after receiving treatment.
