Metro Rail Safety Commissioner inspects Pimpri-Phugewadi metro section
Pimpri : Policenama online – The Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety, New Delhi, Janak Kumar Garg, carried out inspection and safety checks of the Pimpri-Phugewadi stretch of 7 km for the past three days.
Garg expressed his satisfaction after the completion of the inspection of this project. It is expected that he will give authorisation for allowing passenger transport on this section soon.
Garg inspected and tested the security of the PCMC-Phugewadi section by travelling in the railway trolley and in the metro coach and of five stations of Pune Metro from December 26-28.
Garg approved and appreciated the quality work, including this priority section, completed by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for this project. Garg inspected Phugewadi, Kasarwadi, Nashik Phata, Sant Tukaram Nagar and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation building metro stations.
