Shocking incident in Pune district: Minor girl gang raped after being forcibly taken to corn field

A shocking incident has happened in Indapur in Pune district. A 16-year-old girl has been gang raped. The police have filed an FIR and the main accused has been arrested. The incident happened on Saturday. The accused forcefully dragged the victim to a corn field and raped her. The girl’s mother has lodged a complaint at the Walchandnagar police station. Based on the complaint, the police lodged an FIR under section 376 of the IPC. The police have arrested main accused Rahul Hanumant Jadhav and two accused are absconding.
On Saturday at 11 am, the accused Rahul Hanumant Jadhav forcibly took the victim to a corn field and raped her. After some, two others arrived in an Omni van and one of them also raped the girl. Both of them had worn handkerchiefs on their faces. Later, they took the girl in the van and took her to a house on Indapur Road. Later, the accused dropped her at Belwadi bus stop. Baramati Sub Divisional Police Officer Ganesh Ingle is conducting further probe into the incident.
