MSRTC bus rams into 7-8 vehicles on Shankar Maharaj flyover in Pune after brake failure
Pune: An accident involving a MSRTC bus took place on Shankar Maharaj flyover on Thursday. The brakes of the bus failed and the bus rammed into three-four two-wheeler riders and a car. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in the incident but many people have been injured.
The driver lost control over the bus because of brake failure leading to the accident on the Shankar Maharaj flyover. The bus rammed into many vehicles. Many two-wheelers were trapped below the bus and they have been extensively damaged. The police rushed to the spot after they were informed and they tried to streamline the traffic. The accident caused a huge traffic jam.
There was no loss of life but many people have been injured. All the injured have been admitted to the Sassoon Hospital for treatment.
