Pune : Policenama online –Mumbai Crime | A shocking incident of a 35-year-old woman writer being raped by a 75-year-old businessman in a five star hotel in Mumbai has come to light. A 35-year-old woman has lodged a complaint of being raped by a 75-year-old businessman in a five star hotel in Juhu. The man also threatened her by using the name of Dawood Ibrahim. An FIR has been registered at Amboli police station under sections 376(2)(N) and 504 of the IPC.

The police have received a complaint that the accused issued a threat to the rape victim by using the name of notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim, who is the main accused in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case. The woman has written in the complaint that a 75-year-old businessman staying in Dadar raped her on many occasions in a five star hotel in Andheri. The businessman had taken a loan of Rs two crore from her but he had not yet returned the amount, she said.

The businessman threatened her against telling anyone about the rape and the loan by using the name of Dawood Ibrahim gang. The man told her that Dawood Ibrahim is his friend and Haji Mastan was his wife’s sister’s husband. The businessman told her that she would be killed if she complained to anyone. The Amboli police have registered a case and for further investigation, has transferred the case to MIDC Andheri police station.

The complaint says that she was threatened by using the name of Dawood Ibrahim. Senior police officials said that the complaint will be verified.
