New Delhi : A Mumbai-based man, Lokesh Daga, placed an order for mouthwash on Amazon and received a Redmi Note 10 smartphone worth around ₹12,500 instead.
According to details, Lokesh Daga ordered four bottles of Colgate mouthwash on May 10, priced Rs 396. But he got Redmi Note 10 of Rs 13,000.

Tagging Amazon and Redmi India on Twitter, Daga wrote, “Hello @amazonIN Ordered a colgate mouthwash via ORDER # 406-9391383-717957 and instead of that got a @RedmiIndia note 10. Since mouth was in a consumable product returns are restricted and am unable to request for return via the app”.
The matter has since gone viral with the Twitterati offering comments and similar examples of such delivery gaffes by such delivery companies worldwide.
