Mumbai | Opposition to deliberate on strategy for assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh: Sanjay Raut


Mumbai : Policenama online  Mumbai | Congress president Sonia Gandhi has taken the lead to unite all opposition parties ahead of Parliament’s winter session. A meeting of opposition leaders was held at her residence, 10 Janpath, in Delhi on Tuesday. More meetings will be held in the near future to plan opposition strategies in various states. A meeting in this regard may be held on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media in Delhi about the meeting, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said, “The meeting was held at the residence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Leaders of major opposition parties were present. A primary discussion was held on the role of opposition parties over the current political situation in the country and the impending assembly polls in UP and other states.”
