NCP leader Ajit Pawar attacks CM for not discussing Marathwada Muktisangram

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, (UNI) : Marathwada Muktisangram | Maharashtra state opposition and NCP leader Ajit Pawar on Sunday launched a vehement attack on the state government and said that State chief minister has no time to conduct discussions on Marathwada Muktisangram day.

Pawar who was addressing the first MVA’s Vajramuth Rally here at MSMG said that the region of Marathwada is soil(Bhumi) of Saints, Sadhus and large numbers of Varkari Sampradaya who are celebrating Muktisangram (Liberation day).

“However, our state chief minister has no time to discuss the issue in house of assembly for which we (opposition) demanded to call special two days assembly session to discuss the issue,” said Pawar.

Pawar further said that, the MVA government was working well, but one group broke away. They went out despite there being an anti-defection law.

“In this, the Election Commission gave them the symbol and name of the party. An activist like me wonders what to do if the Election Commission is doing this” he said.

Pawar said that although the Election Commission has given its decision, but he and the people have hope from the Supreme Court.

He alleged that the earlier governor had insulted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He alleged the stalwarts like Jyothiba Phule, Savitribai Phule. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil-Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar have been insulted and angrily asked why the leaders in the present state government remained quite on this.

He also charged that in order to divert minds of peoples from issues of inflation, unemployment, damage due to unseasonal rains, Crop insurance, Farmer suicide they are taking out the Gaurav Yatra.

Pawar also asked them if they have guts they should announce to honour Veer Savarkar with Bharat Ratna.

While speaking on this occasion, former chief minister Ashok Chavan praised Thackeray who was handled chief minister post during the 2.5 years with positive thinking and handled to Covid issue effectively.

Senior leader of Congress Thorat said that, MVA state government did so much welfare work in favour of farmers and other sections of society.

He also accused that BJP government of misusing investigation agencies for harassing opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi whose Lok Sabha membership was cancelled after the lower court convicted him.

He also praised Gandhi who took out the Bharat Jodo Yatra to make aware the people of the country aware about the constitution and to understand their issues, added Thorat.
