Mumbai : Policenama online – Maharashtra Police Officer Transfer | The State Home Department on Monday transferred 28 Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCPs) / Upper Superintendents of Police (Upper SPs / SPs rank) in the State. On Tuesday, the State Joint Secretary Venkatesh Bhat issued the order of transfer.
Name of the DCPs and their place of transfer mentioned in brackets next to it is as follows –

2. Prasad Prahlad Akkanuru (Awaiting appointment to Principal, Police Training Centre, Marol, Mumbai)
3. DK Patil-Bhujbal (Awaiting appointment to Superintendent of Police, Anti-Naxal Mission, Nagpur)
4. Arvind Salve (Awaiting posting to Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Highway Security Squad, Mumbai)
