Mumbai : A major meeting of opposition leaders on the Corona crisis will be held at 3 pm on Friday. In this meeting, many leaders including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Maharashatra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, DMK leader MK Stalin will join through video conferencing. It is being told that leaders of 15 political parties will participate in this meeting.

However, it is not clear whether any representative of Congress will participate in this meeting. It is believed that in this meeting, there will be talk about the steps taken by the Modi government regarding the corona and lockdown and the government’s behavior with the state governments.

Recently, in a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Mamata Banerjee had accused the central government of discrimination and said that at such a time the Center should not do politics. She had said that the state is doing a good job in the fight against Corona. The Center should understand that there is an international border in Bengal.

Earlier on 26 April, CM Uddhav Thackeray had targeted the Center, saying, ‘We asked pulses from the Center, because we give food grains to people under the Food Security Act in our state, but we only have rice. That is why we have demanded pulses and wheat which we have not yet received.’
