According to the PM protocol, black things are banned. Hence, the police strictly started checking the visitors. Many had worn black masks and some had worn black caps. The police told them to remove masks and caps and the people were told not to keep them in their pockets. Hence, the citizens were forced to dump them in the waste baskets. Due to this, the discarded masks and caps filled three to four waste baskets.

Since masks were compulsory, people were allowed to use handkerchiefs to attend the programme. Those not having handkerchiefs were turned away.

Many women activists who had brought handbags were not allowed to take them to the venue. Some women requested local residents to keep their bags. Some residents agreed to keep the handbags while some refused to do so. However, women were worried whether the bags would remain safe.
