Police arrest girl for creating ruckus at Pune airport; Girl refuses to pay taxi fare and bites the thumb of CISF officer
Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime News | The police have arrested a girl for creating a ruckus at the airport after refusing to pay the taxi fare and biting the hand of a woman CISF officer. The arrested girl has been identified as Gunjan Rajeshkumar Agarwal (24), a resident of Howrah, West Bengal. (Pune Crime News)
CISF Inspector Rupali Thoke (39) has lodged a complaint at the Viman Nagar police station. The incident took place at midnight at gate number one of the Lohegaon airport.
According to the police, Gunjan Agarwal got down at the airport but did not pay the cab fare. She started arguing with the taxi driver over the fare. The taxi driver sought help from the Airport Authority. Terminal Manager Bhakti Lulla went to question the girl. Gunjan abused her and created a nuisance for passengers waiting in a queue opposite departure gate number one. When Bhakti Lulla was trying to explain to her but she spoke to her rudely and had a scuffle with her.
The complainant was present there. When she tried to help Lulla, the accused grabbed her collar and slapped her. She also bit the thumb of her left hand. The police have arrested Gunjan Agarwal for obstructing official work after registering an FIR.
