Pune | Citizens will no longer be ready for lockdown now says, BJP state president Chandrakant Patil
January 5, 2022

Pune : Policenama onlineThe number of covid patients has started increasing once again across the country. Against this backdrop, strict restrictions are currently being imposed in many states of the country. In Maharashtra too, the number of patients has reached an alarming level and it was seen that the state has recorded 18,000 new cases in a day yesterday. Due to this, discussions have begun on stricter restrictions in the state.

BJP state president Chandrakant Patil has expressed his opinion on this question. “Citizens will no longer be ready for the lockdown. Two years is a very long period in a person’s life and already people have endured so many days. Therefore, the state government should not impose any strict restrictions at present,” he said.

What exactly did Chandrakant Patil say?

Chandrakant Patil said that no one will be ready for lockdown now. Two years is a long period in a person’s life. Students, traders, sportsperson, entrepreneurs, farmers are all involved in this. After enduring such a large class for two years, how many more years will they endure it? He asked.

He further said that the state government should start a routine, but carefully. If you do not wear a mask, increase the fine from Rs 500 to Rs 5000. My point is to impose strict restrictions. Wedding ceremonies can be held with fifty people. But closing the offices, schools, colleges and giving a certain time window for shops to remain open will not help in curbing the pandemic.
