Pune Corona Updates | 1,104 new cases of corona found in Pune city in 24 hours
Pune : Policenama online – The number of coronavirus cases is increasing in Pune city. Today, 1,104 new cases have been reported in the city and some of them are infected by the Omicron variant.
This is a cause for concern as there has been a big increase in the number of patients in the city. However, 151 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
So far in Pune, 5,12,689 cases of coronavirus patients have been found and 5,00,144 patients have recovered.
In the last 24 hours in Pune city, one death has been recorded. So far, 9,119 people have died in Pune city due to coronavirus infection.
Since the number of recovering patients has reduced, there has been an increase in the number of active patients.
At present, there are 3,790 active patients in the city. Of them, 89 patients are serious and 76 patients are on oxygen.
Today, at different centres, 6,819 swab tests were carried out. So far, 38,92,879 swab tests have been carried out.
