Tenders worth Rs 400 crore presented before PMC Standing Committee for approval

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Corporation | A proposal for eight roads to be built on the PPP basis in Kharadi and Mundhwa, tenders worth Rs 140 crore for a flyover on Mula-Mutha river and a 260-crore tender for the Mula-Mutha Riverfront Development Project will be put forth before the standing committee for its approval as it is about to conclude its term.

 

The civic body will bear the expenses for the first phase of the riverfront development plan from Sangamwadi to Bund Garden Bridge.

 

The 18-m DP road at Survey no. 3,4,7 in Kharadi, the 36-m road from Radisson Hotel to Survey no. 60 in Kharadi, the 18-m, 30-m and 36-m roads in Kharadi Bypass area, the 18-m and 24-m DP roads at Survey no. 59, 60 in Kharadi, the 18-m, 36-m DP road at Rajaram Nagar, the 18-m DP road at survey no. 4, 40, 41 in Kharadi to survey no. 40 18-m to 24 m road, the 24-m road at survey no. 39, 41, 42, 43 in Kharadi, the 24-m DP road connecting to this road from Kolte-Patil building to Kharadi Durgah, the 24-m DP road at survey no. 38, 39 and from this road to the road behind Kharadi Bypass road Kolte-Patil building, the 18-m DP road at survey no. 56, 57 in Kharadi to 24-m DP road survey no. 57 in Kharadi up to Ahmednagar road, Kharadi survey no 67, 68, 69 30-m DP road to Kharadi Hulaji Nagar, 30-m road at Pachpir Chowk near Wagholi river will be developed.

 

A tender will be approved to build a flyover from survey no. 9 to 14 in Mundhwa to cross the Mula-Mutha river to reach survey no. 16/14 A.

 

In all, four companies filed their bids for two works. Krishnai Infrastructure Pvt Ltd’s bid has one percent less rate at Rs 108.16 crore. A bid filed by VM Matere Infrastructure Pvt Ltd was higher by 0.50 rate at Rs 8.44 crore and was the lowest bid for some roads.

 

Four companies competed for the flyover tender. Among them Nikhil Construction Pune’s bid at Rs 23.47 crore at 1.93 percent higher rate was the lowest one. The bids filed by other three companies had 22 to 35 percent higher rates.

 

Tender to be approved for the Mula-Mutha riverfront development project

A tender worth estimated Rs 305 crore has been floated for the first phase of the Mula-Mutha riverfront development project from Sangamwadi to Bund Garden. Five companies filed their bids for this work. The lowest bid at 13.14 percent lower rate estimated to be Rs 260 crore was quoted by BG Shirke Construction Technology Pvt Ltd. The cost is likely to escalate up to Rs 320 crore considering the GST, insurance and royalty charges.
