Pune Crime | Accused in Pimpale Gurav murder case fire at policemen, arrested

 

Pune : Policenama online A police squad which went to nab the accused in the Pimpale Gurav shooting and murder case was fired at. The police also fired three rounds of bullets in self-defence. The incident happened at Kurali village near Chakan. (Pune Crime)

 

Yogesh Ravindra Jagtap (36) of Pimpale Gurav was killed in the broad daylight firing on December 18 at Pimpale Gurav. The Sangvi police filed an offence against 11 people in this connection. Various teams of policemen were trying to track the accused. They got a tip-off that the accused were hiding at Kurali village near Chakan in Khed taluka. Four teams of the Pimpri Chinchwad police arrived in the village to arrest them.

 

The accused fired at the police teams. The police also fired back in self-defence. Later, the accused were arrested. There were no casualties in the firing. However, one policeman got minor injuries.
