Case filed against Chief of Samast Hindu Aghadi Milind Ekbote, 19 others for creating rift between two communities

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime | A case has been filed against Chief of Samast Hindu Aghadi Milind Ekbote and 19 others at the Faraskhana police station for distributing pamphlets and creating a rift between the communities by saying that work is going on for the construction of a dargah at the Punyeshwar temple when there is a stay order on the construction.

 

Everybody came together on Mahashivratri at Pavle Chowk in Kasba Peth and performed a maha aarti. They also posted misleading messages on social media, says the complaint. The accused have been identified as Sunil Sadashiv Tambat (53), a resident of Kasba Peth, Swapnil Arun Naik (36), a resident of Guruwar Peth, Mukund Marutirao Patole (62), a resident of Mangalwar Peth, Milind Ramakant Ekbote (65), a resident of Revenue Colony, Shivajinagar, Nandkishore Ramakant Ekbote (60), a resident of Revenue Colony, Shivajinagar, Yogesh Bhalachandra Wadekar (41), a resident of Shukrawar Peth, Kunal Someshwar Kamble (39), a resident of Navi Sangvi, Ravindra Rajendra Nanavare (33), a resident of Parvati Darshan, Santosh Kamlakar Angolkar (44), a resident of Dhankawdi, Dharudatt Vasant Shinde (52), a resident of Sahakar Nagar, Dhananjay Maruti Gaikwad (51), a resident of Sadashiv Peth, Prashant Prakash Kamble (24), a resident of Mangalwar Peth, Devisingh Mohansingh Dashana (18), a resident of Kasba Peth, Vicky Ramesh Chavan (25), a resident of Kasba Peth, Aditya Dnyaneshwar Kamble (18), a resident of Kasba Peth, Vishwajeet Dnyandev Bhise (23), a resident of Market Yard, Akash Prabhakar Mane (19), a resident of Padmavati, Parth Jay Prakash Panchal (21), a resident of Narhe, Aditya Santosh Rajput (18), a resident of Padmavati and Vaibhav Wagh. Apart from Milind Ekbote, Nandkishor Ekbote and Vaibhav Wagh, others were let off after being issued a notice.

 

According to the police, the accused hatched a conspiracy and posted messages, videos and invitation cards spreading rift between two communities and issued an appeal to the Hindu community asking them to gather at Pavle Chowk. They performed a maha aarti.

 

They violated the restraining order issued by the Joint CP. The booklet which was distributed during the programme wrongly mentioned that the construction is going on when actually no construction is taking place to create a rift and hatred between two communities, says the complaint.

 

After they got the information, Joint CP Dr Ravindra Shisve, Addl CP Rajendra Dahale, DCP Priyanka Narnavre, ACP Satish Govekar, Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Landge and Police Inspector Shabbir Syed visited the area. Police bandobast has been maintained in the area.
