Case registered against former corporator Bala Oswal over Kondhwa property dispute

Pune: Policenama onlinePune Crime | The Kondhwa police have filed a case against former corporator Bala Oswal and three others for assaulting a person over a land dispute and asking him whether his life is not important. The incident happened on Friday at 10.30 pm at a place adjacent to Chintamani Transport on Gangadham Road in Kondhwa-Bibvewadi area. (Pune Crime)

 

Sushma Sunil Rithe(32), a resident of Gangadham Road, Bibvewadi has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. The police have filed a case against Sumit Telang, Shahji Randive, Sukeshni alias Rani Bansode and Bala Oswal under sections 324, 504, 506 and 33 of the IPC.

 

According to the police, the property located at survey number 656/09/01/01 has been purchased by the complainant’s husband and brother-in-law. The complainant and her sister Nilima and mother Mukta Sakharam Kamble had gone to the site over a dispute that the property belongs to Sumit Telang’s father Dilip Telang. Sumit Telang, Shahji Randive and Sukeshni Bansode beat them up. Sumit dragged Sushma by her hair and banged her head on the wall injuring her. Bala Oswal came there. He said,” Is your life not important? You should leave aside this matter of property. Go away from here. I have purchased this land for Rs 30 lakh rupees. These people are mine. I am giving you a last warning. Leave from here or you will die.’’
