Pune Crime | Dattawadi police booked 21 years man for sodomizing minor in Pune

Pune : Policenama online – Dattawadi police booked a 21 -year-old man for allegedly sodomizing a 16-year-old near a bus stand at Dandekar Pool in Pune on Friday afternoon. Police said that the accused forcefully took the victim behind the bus stand and sodomized him. The incident, which took place during the day, has caused a stir in the area.
The accused was identified as Sagar Sonawane, a resident of Dandekar Pool, and according to police, he forcefully committed the unnatural act with the minor.
Following the incident, the 16-year-old victim boy approached the Dattawadi police station and complained.
According to the police, the victim was talking a friend at the PMT bus stop at Dandekar Pool around 2 pm on Friday. The accused Sonawane came over there and forcibly dragged the victim to the backyard of the bus stop. “Sonawane forcibly sodomized the boy and also threatened to be silent,” said a senior police official from Dattawadi Police station.
Following the complaint, Dattawadi police have booked Sonawane under sections 363, 376, 377, 323, and 506 of IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Abuse. PSI S Jadhav is investigating under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Krushna Indalkar of Dattawadi Police Station.
