FIR against four people for approving director’s resignation and cheating her of Rs 6 lakh

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime | An incident has come to light in Pune wherein a woman director of a company was cheated by taking her signatures on blank papers and writing a resignation letter and getting it approved in the company meeting. A case has been registered at the Kothrud police station under sections 417, 420, 471 and 34 of the IPC. The police have filed a case against Chandrashekhar Trayambakrao Deshmukh, Deepak Gopinathrao Apshingekar, Vijaykumar Babasaheb Shitole, Ajit Chandrakant Nimbalkar. (Pune Crime)

 

A 40-year-old woman has filed a petition in the court. As per the court’s directives, the Kothrud police have filed a cheating case against four persons under section 156A (3) of the IPC.

 

The incident took place in Kingbird Technology Pvt Ltd located in Kothrud.

 

According to the police, the complainant was working as a director in Kingbird Technology Pvt Ltd. The accused held a meeting on April 26, 2021 and the complainant was unaware of the meeting. The accused took the complainant’s signature on 10 to 12 blank papers in Nashik. A resignation letter was written on one of the papers.

 

The resignation letter was submitted in the meeting. The board of directors approved her resignation and informed the registrar of companies that she had resigned from the company without informing her.

 

After the company was set up, the complainant was not given any financial benefits and the accused misappropriated Rs 5 lakh 88 thousand taken from the complainant and her husband.

 

The police are investigating the case.
