Pune : A 29-year-old man, (a resident of Bhor), died by suicide after he alleged that he was being harassed over an affair with a prostitute staying in Budhwar Peth. The Bharati Vidyapeeth police have registered an offence against two people for provoking him to take the extreme step. (Pune Crime)

 

A case has been filed against Valmiki Bhagwan Mane (29), a resident of Dhayari and a woman. The incident happened on February 27, 2021 at Mangdewadi in Katraj.

 

The younger brother of the person who committed suicide has registered a complaint with the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.

 

According to the complaint, the deceased (Ashok-name changed) and Valmiki Mane were operating a restaurant in partnership. Ashok was in a relationship with a prostitute staying in Budhwar Peth. Valmiki and the woman used to harass Ashok over this affair. Hence, Ashok decided to take the extreme step, the complaint says.

 

Senior police inspector of Bharati Vidyapeeth police station Jagannath Kalaskar is investigating the case.
