Pune Crime News | AEC foils plan to kill businessman; Business partner had given contract of ₹50 lakh to kill him; AEC arrests four criminals
PUNE : Pune Crime News | A man gave a contract of ₹50 lakh for killing his partner over buying and selling of land and the Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) has arrested four criminals who are on police records. One of the arrested is a chartered accountant. Three pistols and 40 cartridges have been seized from them.
The accused have been identified as Vivek Nandkishor Lahoti (42), a resident of Chinchwad, Sudhir Anil Pardeshi (25), a resident of Maval taluka, Sharad Salvi and a woman have been arrested. According to the information given by DCP Swapna Gore, the AEC arrested Sudhir Pardeshi in connection with a case. The police have seized two pistols and 16 live cartridges from him. While carrying out a probe, Pardeshi revealed some information which was shocking.
Pardeshi and Salvi brought three pistols and 40 cartridges from Madhya Pradesh. He had kept a pistol and 24 cartridges with CA Vivek Lahoti. Pardeshi is a criminal on police records. The police had a doubt about the connection between Pardeshi and Lahoti and were wondering why Pardeshi kept a pistol with Lahoti. They apprehended Lahoti from his residence and seized a pistol and 24 cartridges. When questioned, it became clear that Lahoti had given a contract of ₹50 lakh for killing his partner Raju Mali to Pardeshi. The police seized the evidence from Lahoti.
Raju Mali goes to his construction site in Satara district on every Saturday and Sunday and stays there. The accused hatched a plan to kill Mali there. They selected the place after thinking that the police will not come to know about the incident. However, the police foiled their plan.
