Pune Crime News | Market Yard police station: Police arrest three men for carrying out robbery at restaurant

PUNE : Pune Crime News | After the restaurant owner locked the restaurant and went home, the workers opened the restaurant and stole money and some equipment. When they were taking it away, the police arrested three workers.
The arrested accused have been identified as Noor Alam alias Sabir Akbar Shaikh (30), Imran Mohammad Saleem Shaikh alias Rajesh John Shaikh and Jahangir Najirul Molla (27), all residents of West Bengal.
Nitin Rajaram Kondhalkar (52), a resident of Ambegaon, Katraj has lodged a complaint (148/23) at the Market Yard police station. The incident took place at Gangadham Bibvewadi behind the restaurant on Saturday at 11 pm to 2 am.
According to the police, the three accused are workers in the complainant’s restaurant. The complainant closed the restaurant on Saturday night and went home. His workers opened the restaurant with a duplicate key. After entering the restaurant, they damaged the premises worth ₹25,000. They stole ₹10,000 cash, home theatre, amplifier, DVR, cameras, routers worth ₹50,700. When they were taking away these goods, the patrolling policemen caught them at 2 am. The police came to know about the robbery they had committed. API Daberao is probing the case.
